Our Mission

Freedom Through Prayer is a faith-based ministry that provides spiritual support through prayer for individuals and families walking through hard seasons. Requests reach us through a form on this site, a real person reads each one, and our fellowship lifts each request up in the name of Jesus Christ. You will never be asked to pay for prayer.

Not a Substitute for Professional Help

Freedom Through Prayer provides spiritual support through prayer. We are not licensed counselors, medical professionals, therapists, or treatment providers. Our services are not intended to replace or substitute for professional medical treatment, addiction recovery programs, counseling, therapy, or any other professional care.

If you or someone you know is facing a medical, mental health, or addiction crisis, please seek professional help. We believe prayer belongs alongside licensed care, and we will gladly pray with you while you receive it.

Emergency Resources

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please contact the following resources:

  • Emergency: Call 911
  • SAMHSA National Helpline: 1-800-662-4357 (free, confidential, 24/7, 365 days a year)
  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: 988 (call or text)

Prayer Requests

Requests submitted through our website arrive in a private inbox and are treated with confidentiality and care. Our fellowship prays over each request by name, using first names only, and there is no stop date on our prayers. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes. We trust in God's sovereignty and His perfect will in all circumstances.

One exception to that confidentiality: if a request describes danger to a child, to an older adult, or to anyone who cannot protect themselves, we may be legally required to contact the authorities, and we will. Our privacy policy explains this in full.

Nobody watches this inbox around the clock, and we are not a crisis service. Requests are read in batches, not in real time. Please use the emergency resources above if the situation cannot wait.

Donations

Online giving is not open at this time. You will never be asked to pay for prayer or any other part of this ministry.

User Conduct

We ask that you engage with our ministry respectfully and in good faith. We reserve the right to decline requests that are harmful, threatening, abusive, or fraudulent. We keep this a safe and loving place for people seeking prayer.
