Information We Collect
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our forms, including your first name and, if you choose to give it, your email address. We do not ask for your last name, your address, or your date of birth. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
When We Cannot Keep It Confidential
There is one exception to everything below, and we would rather you know it before you write than after. If a request describes danger to a child, to an older adult, or to anyone who cannot protect themselves, we may be legally required to contact the authorities, and we will. Everything else stays between you, the person who reads requests, and our prayer fellowship.

How We Use Your Information
When you submit a prayer request, your first name and request are shared with our prayer fellowship so they can pray for you by name. Your email address, if you provide one, is used solely for follow-up communication related to your request and is never shared publicly.
What We Never Do
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
- We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We do not send you marketing email you did not ask for.
- We do not publish your full name or email address anywhere.
Prayer Request Confidentiality
We guard what you tell us. Your full submission is delivered to our private inbox and read by the fellowship member who manages requests. When a request is shared with the rest of the fellowship for prayer, it carries your first name only. Prayer requests are never published on this site, and a story or testimony appears only through the separate testimony form, with written permission.
Praying For Someone Else
Many requests are about another person. That person did not write to us and has not agreed to anything, so we treat their details with more care than our own. Please share only what is needed for prayer. Please do not send us a diagnosis, a criminal matter, or an accusation about someone who could be identified. We remove such details before a request reaches the fellowship, and we never publish them.
Asking Us To Delete Your Request
Write to prayer@freedomthroughprayer.org and we will delete your request and your email address from our records within seven days, no questions asked. If your first name is already written in our prayer book, tell us and we will strike it out.
Form Processing
Our website forms (prayer requests, contact messages, and testimony submissions) are delivered to us by Formspree, a form processing service that transmits your submission to our private inbox. Formspree processes this data on our behalf in accordance with its own privacy policy. Online giving is not open, so no payment information is collected on this site. You will never be asked to pay for prayer.
Analytics
We currently run no analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens, and we will use a service that does not set cookies or identify visitors.
Young People
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we discover that we have, we delete it as soon as we see it.
If you are under 18 and you write to us, we will pray for you. We will also ask you to tell a trusted adult, and we will point you to help that is built for young people, because prayer and real-world help belong together. Testimonies are accepted only from people 18 or older.
